Music, Spirituality, Religion, and the Human Brain

This project is scheduled to run from June, 2006 until May, 2009, and is funded by the Metanexus Institute under the auspices of the Templeton Advanced Research Program. It is being conducted by Petr Janata (UC Davis) and Robin Sylvan (Sacred Center), together with advisors Judith Becker (Univ. of Michigan), Peter Keller (Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences), and Robert Shumway (UC Davis).
